So it’s been an interesting week. Tropical storm Fay decided to hang around here for a few days and make a mess of things. Fortunately the family and I are fine, we just have to deal with a couple of roof leaks. Nothing like nailing a tarp down on your roof with tropical storm force...
I’ve Gone "Green" !!!!!!
After much thought I decided to get a new car yesterday. I bought a new Honda Civic Hybrid. It is supposed to get close to 50 mpg on the highway. It feels really good to do my small part in helping to make the world a better place.

I just found out that I was one of the winners of a photography contest. The Central Brevard Humane Society ran a contest to find the best pet pictures in the county. They are making a 2009 calender with the winning images that they are going to sell to raise money for the Humane Society....
